Welcome:
Welcome to GottaCube, your place to learn how to speedsolve and build puzzles. The goal of this site is to share my hobbies, speedcubing and puzzle building/modding, with you.
I have written several tutorials on specific puzzles and have also provided videos to assist in the learning proccess. I also have guides written to assist you in the building of some specific puzzles. These are here to show you how I make the puzzles that I make.
GottaCube.com is also the proud host of the weekly Monday Contest (unofficial). It is a contest in which competitors from around the world submit times in any of the three events offerred: 3x3x3 Speedsolve, 3x3x3 One-handed, and 3x3x3 Blindfolded. They are then placed by the best (fastest) times.

About the Site:
This site is the official website of speedcuber Caleb Lau. (Me!) I decided to create this site to share with you, the world, my hobby and obsession for the amazing Rubik's Cube puzzle. This site is aimed at helping you learn and improve your cubing skills.
I have written some tutorials (and more are yet to come) on solving and I hope you find them worth while. I also have cubing videos of some of my solves, speedcubing tips, a cube log, and information on my collection. Have fun, and enjoy.
About the Webmaster:
I, having only started speedsolving in Febuary of 2006, am quite new to speedcubing. Currently, I use Fridrich (CFOP) as my solving method with a blue Cross on the bottom. I use the standard American color scheme. Although I have learned all the algorithms required for the method, I still have a lot to improve on. That is also one of the reasons why this site was created. I strongly believe that helping others learn to speedcube is a good way for me to learn as well. I can use my knowledge to help others while getting better myself; it's a win-win situation.
Feel free to explore and if you have any questions or concerns, or if you want to write a guide for GottaCube.com please contact me.
